Why We Need Gods

PART I

In the beginning there was a void in the Multiverse. A Matter Universe (Rodney) and an AntiMatter Universe (Torus) met in Murphy's Multiverse Bar. Matter and AntiMatter Universes being what they were, they were immediately and fatally attracted to one another.

There was a Big Bang.

Gestation periods among Universes being what they are, a fraction of a second later, They were the proud, but somewhat shaken parents of a Beautiful Bouncing Baby Universe. And with natural childbirth being the neat and tidy process that it is, soon everything was falling into its proper time and space.

PART II

In the beginning there was a void in the Personal Universe. A small-gamete-cell person (male) and a large-gamete-cell person (female) (each with their own Personal Universe) met in Murphy's Mundayne Bar and Grille. Small-gamete-cell and large-gamete-cell persons, being what they were, they were immediately and fatefully attracted to one another.

Eventually, there was a "!" that may or may not be properly described as Big.

Gestation periods among persons being what they are, a major fraction of a year later they were the somewhat shaken parents of a Beautiful Bouncing Baby Universe. And with parenthood being the neat and tidy process that it is, soon each person was busy adapting to a new role for their next hour upon the stage.

PART III

The Universe is unique.

It exists in a form that had a beginning. It changes as it grows older. Eventually it will die. The same is true of the Multiverse.

This tells us something very important:

It Is Above As It Is Below.
It Is Below As It Is Above.

Somebody's tossed a mirror into the works.

PART IV

...the only way we can comprehend the Universe is as a reflection of ourselves. It's not that the Universe is made in our image, or that we are made in the image of the Universe, it's that:

What's reflected in the Mirror
is the only part of the Universe
we are able to see.
